Black Diamond Watermelon

90 days — ‘Black Diamond’ watermelon is an old standard variety that typically reaches the thirty to fifty pound range. The fruit is slightly oblong with prominent creases, and dark, almost black colored skin. The flesh is sweet, dark red in color, and has large, grayish colored seeds.

The example fruit in the photograph was harvested on the 23rd of September, and boy was it good! Each packet contains two grams, which is approximately 14 to 16 seeds.
