Flint / Flour Corn
110 days — ‘Blue Hopi’ corn is an ancient flour corn variety that is generally used to make blue colored corn meal. It is currently gaining popularity for use in making tortillas, pancake mixes, cornbread mixes, corn chips, and cereal. It can also be used as a parching corn and because it is quite attractive, is often used as an ornamental.
The plants are bushy, five to eight feet in height, with eight to ten inch ears of smooth blue kernels. Each packet contains one ounce, which is approximately 95 seeds.
