90 days, dwarf — The rugose, regular leaf plants of ‘Dwarf Chocolate Heartthrob’ are prolific. Its fruit are six to ten ounces each, strongly heart-shaped, and a rich mahogany chocolate in color with nearly metallic looking green stripes. The interior is a rich burgundy crimson with a well balanced, very delicious and classic “tomato-ey” flavor.

‘Dwarf Chocolate Heartthrob” is the second release from the promising and colorful Dwarf Tomato Project’s “Hearty” family, the primary development work was carried out by Vince Lavalle, Bill Yoder and Craig LeHoullier (and named by Bill and Craig). Breeding contributors are Dan Follett, Ted Maiden, Mickey Pasco-Powell, Susan Oliverson, Heide Dolan, John Cook, and Bill Minkey. It was introduced by the Victory Seed Company in 2022. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
