Mid-season, dwarf — ‘Dwarf Maura’s Cardinal’ has rugose, potato leaf plants that produce lots of medium sized, four to eight ounce, red colored, round tomatoes with a well balanced, delicious flavor.

The “Dainty” family originated from a cross made by Patrina Nuske Small between two Dwarf Tomato Project released varieties, ‘Summertime Gold‘ (from the “Sneezy” family) and ‘Sleeping Lady‘ (from the Grumpy family). ‘Dwarf Maura’s Cardinal’ was selected and named by Susan Oliverson with Craig LeHoullier also participating in its development, and Bill Minkey growing out the final selection. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
