Early Frosty Garden Pea

65 days — The vines are wilt resistant, uniform, reaching twenty-eight to thirty inches and benefit from some support. ‘Early Frosty’ is a prolific freezing variety producing pods that are about four inches long, blunt-ended, dark-green in color, and containing seven to eight peas each. A good home garden and fresh market variety used for fresh eating or freezing.

Bred and released by Rogers Brothers Seed Co., Idaho Falls, Idaho in 1966.^[1] Each ounce is approximately 150 seeds, which is generally enough to plant at least a ten foot row.
