85 days, indeterminate — ‘Early Santa Clara Canner’ is a main to late crop tomato with large, strong, moderately productive, regular-leaf vines. Its fruit are oblate shaped, red colored, eight to twenty-four ounces each, with an pleasant, mild flavor. It reportedly has some resistance to Verticillium wilt.
Developed by the Ferry-Morse Seed Company in co-operation with the Canners League of California,[1] our original source was USDA GRIN accession number PI 270226, which was donated into the gene bank on December 7, 1960. Each packet contains at least 20 seeds.
