80 days, indeterminate — Regular leaf plants are very productive. The fruit are large, averaging six to ten ounces, red, and are plum-shaped. They have an excellent flavor and are good for fresh eating and are meaty with few seeds making them a good choice for canning or sauces.
We received our original seed sample from Dr. Carolyn Male who received it several years prior from Reinhard Kraft of Germany. She told us that this variety was, “Originally from a Kazakhstan German named Ludmilla who had been growing this variety for over fifty years prior to giving it to Reinhard, who named it in her honor.”
Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
