80 days, determinate — The plants are productive and mature early to medium early depending on location. The fruit are medium to large (six to thirteen ounces) in size and a uniform red color. They are solid with a good flavor and internal color.
Bred and introduced by the late Dr. William A. “Tex” Frazier of Oregon State University as an open-pollinated, stabilized cross between ‘Campbell Soup 10’ and ‘Pennheart’. Its experimental name was OSC-395 but that was changed to ‘Medford’ when it was released in the early 1960s. Fusarium and Verticillium Wilt resistant. Each packet contains approximately 20 seeds.
