40 days — “Marvel of Four Seasons,” as the name suggests, is a marvelous lettuce variety that can be grown nearly year-round. This French heirloom was first introduced to Americans on the classic PBS series, “The Victory Garden.” Ruby red-tipped leaves that surround tight folded green hearts. Does great through the summer heat and can withstand down to 20ºF in a sealed greenhouse or in cloches. Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 500 to 600 seeds.
