88 days — The vines of ‘Planter’s Jumbo’ are vigorous, are mildew resistant, and do well in drought or high rainfall. The fruit have a firm rind with light ribs and thick, orange flesh, weighing four or five pounds on average.
Selected in 1954 by Clemson University and the USDA Agricultural Experiment Station at Charleston, South Carolina. Each packet contains one gram, which is about 35 seeds.
