Ruta graveolens
Rue, also known as common rue or herb-of-grace, is native to the Balkan Peninsula. Beyond its garden appeal, it serves as an excellent cut flower filler, gracing your vases for up to three weeks while infusing the air with its aromatic essence. It also is purported to have medicinal properties. Perennial in USDA Zones 4-9, Rue adapts gracefully to various climates and soil conditions. Rue is highly drought-tolerant once established, and is a larval host plant for certain swallowtail butterfly species. Attracts pollinators during its blooming period.
Each packet contains 0.25g which is about 80-90 seeds.Â
