‘White Boston’ first began appearing in seed catalogs in 1930 and was also marketed under the name of ‘Unrivaled’. Most merchants referred to it as a, “… new superior strain of Big Boston” proclaiming that it, “… does not scald in hot weather or turn red from cold.“[1,2,3,4] Each packet contains one gram, which is approximately 500 to 600 seeds.
